You can spot the characteristic fox terrier ears and white socks from just a glance at Jimmy. Now Jimmy isn’t the dog for everyone; in fact he’s in a frantic search to find the human angel who can soothe his troubled spirit. Jimmy is highly intelligent and he’s petrified of people. You’ve got to wonder what frightful experiences have turned Jimmy into the fractious boy who is afraid to approach people. Or is Jimmy simply reacting to being torn from his beloved family? Either way, Jimmy is so upset that he resorts to bite mode when people try to minister to him. How horrible it must be to live in Jimmy’s mind where every human is a potential threat. The shelter has given up on Jimmy and they recommend that he not be placed in a home at all. The shelter says that Jimmy doesn’t deserve to be around people and that he should die tomorrow. Obviously Jimmy is a challenging dog, but we’ve known special people who can communicate their gentle intentions to the most hardened soul. Jimmy will try to bite the human who kills him tomorrow and that’s how he will die. If you know anyone who is willing to take a chance on Jimmy, they need to hurry.
