You can tell that the summer season is slowing down. As i sit here looking out the window to Our woods, i see the cardinals hiding and fighting under the canopy of wisteria vines. Ever so frequently i witness the 1 foot castoff pine needles from the 100 foot Carolina Pine trees. They are falling like the soft large winter snowflakes. They are piling up, making homes for the critters, and as i see this, there are storm clouds rolling in with the promise of the rainstorms we were promised starting tonight and lasting into Monday. The wind is slowly stirring and the scent of Mimosa is filtering through the windows. Hard to believe they are calling for such a wicked weather weekend.
