Because art is appreciated at a level above the intellect...yes I said above. There is a level above the intellect that loves people, appreciates art, stands for an ideal. Spirituality is experienced at this level. Spirituality is a subjective and intimate experience like art or music, but originating from an even higher source. People search for the Truth in the intellect in a very slow, ponderous, and soulless way. Facts are great for operating in the external world. You can build rockets and make medicine, thats great! But you wont feel fulfilled. Fulfillment is based in a higher source. And as facts are useful for external realities, spirituality is for the internal. It will show you how to use the facts.
