You cant connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. The spring, summer, is quite a hectic time for people in their lives, but then it comes to autumn, and to winter, and you cant but help think back to the year that was, and then hopefully looking forward to the year that is approaching. If you arent in the moment, you are either looking forward to uncertainty, or back to pain and regret. I went whale-watching in Hermanus and I was really looking forward to that, but when you see it on TV and you see other programs do it, youre seeing close-ups of these massive creatures, and the music thats added gives you a certain feeling. But in reality, youre stuck on a boat thats bobbing up and down, you feel sick, the whale isnt there on demand. Im really looking forward to seeing what life brings to me. Let us be about setting high standards for life, love, creativity, and wisdom. If our expectations in these areas are low, we are not likely to experience wellness. Setting high standards makes every day and every decade worth looking forward to. A mans delight in looking forward to and hoping for some particular satisfaction is a part of the pleasure flowing out of it, enjoyed in advance. But this is afterward deducted, for the more we look forward to anything the less we enjoy it when it comes. I would not have lasted a minute, literally a minute, on this Earth without God and angels by my side, because I was born. And right as I was born, I went into a respiratory arrest. So, big things that keep me going are friends and family, God. And another thing is looking forward to whats going to happen tomorrow. Men, in fact, are excited and looking forward to settling down and having families and being true partners with women in relationships that are full of excitement, unpredictability, adventure, and loyalty. Im definitely looking forward to the day when I stop working - if I ever stop working. I like the idea Ive put my life back together, but its all a growing process and thats neat, too, because if you stop growing, what good is it musically? So that is what I am looking forward to - growing. In some ways, I felt stagnant in my life and it showed. And, obviously as a, as one who likes to travel around myself a lot, I think the Earth is a beautiful place. And, Im looking forward to some new perspectives. I am only 30something, Ive got a lot to do. This is the first half of my career. Im looking forward to the future and Im proud about the past.
