You cant even buy one cup of coffee a week for £1 now but if just 1,000 people agreed to pay just £1 a week we could make up our shortfall and stay open! We have been helping local animals here at Preston RSPCA for over 128 and we couldnt do any of this without your help. Its costs aprox £24,000 per month to run and we are falling short some months by thousands. This may sound like a high cost when you only see a dozen or so cats and dogs on our website but please understand that we have many more that we cant show you for various reasons because they are not ready for rehoming yet. These are the animals that need the most care. These are the ones that have been the most abused and neglected you can imagine. We dont give up on these animals and believe they deserve a second chance in life. These animals cost us so much more money through extra care, medication, rehabilitation and assessments but we will do everything we can to turn their lives around. Animals are a privelage and not a right so we try to ensure that once they have recovered from their cruel past we will find them the forever home they deserve. Last week we received just £20 through our Virgin Money Giving page and whilst we appreciate every penny donated to us we cant stay open if things continue this way.
