You cant have it both ways with th Russkeeeeeees!!! The Europeans are certainly not going to push to hard with economic sanctions against the Russkeeeees and China is not going to either. The Europeans have been heavily involved with the Russkeeeees development of their energy supplies and have no intention of stopping because of the situation in the Ukraine, they also have no interest in being cut off from the Russkeeeee naural gas that supplies a significant share of their energy. The Chinese and the Russkeeeeees are on the verge of completing a huge gas deal that has been in negotiation for a decade and will probably be signed in May. So dont anyone hold their breath waiting for the Europeans or the Chinese to get really serious about economic sanctions, unless the Europeans dont mind spending a rather chilly winter and the Chinese have another supplier as large as the Russkeeeeeees to make a deal with, which obviously at this moment they dont. The U.S. is in a very different situation then the Chinese and the Europeans and has no dependence on the Russkeeeeeees thankfully. The U.S. is in a tough position if they try to persuade allies to get serious about sanctions!!! As long as there is dependence on Russkeeeees for energy dont expect any real action on sanctions from those nations who are dependent on the Russkeeees. It aint going to happen!!!
