You cant produce a show like Chopped in a place like Canada. People are too polite there and it ruins the entire premise of the show, which is chefs making food out of awful ingredients with not enough time, and a panel of impossibly cruel judges tearing them apart for their efforts. Chopped Canada: Well this dish really wasnt my cup of tea, but you did a very good job and I give you an A+ for working so hard. Chopped America: Do you taste any fennel? I barely taste fennel in my dish. You didnt even come close to fulfilling the requirements of your ingredient basket, and Im highly suspect of your reasoning for coming on this show. You clearly have no talent, and should have never gone to culinary school. Your face makes me sick. You are going to lose this competition, and you are not going to get your mother the dialysis treatment she needs to survive. We also called your employer and convinced them to fire you because we all agree that you have no business enjoying anything. Theres no fennel in this dish, and you should probably kill yourself. Youve been chopped.
