I dont know, well nobody knows, who wrote the proverb but what I do know is that this article was brought to my attention by Dave Chase, contributor at Forbes and VP at WebMD, and that I, too agree that smart cities who want to attract talent, grow jobs and be competitive in the future need to go beyond marketing fluff and tax breaks. They need to understand where the puck is going to be in the future. I hope someone at the City Hall in Vancouver reads this article. Green cities are good.
