You cant spot reduce body fat...its a myth. Often times people ask me some variation of question about how to get their stomach to flatten out or get their abs to show. It is a common misconception that a lot of direct abdominal work is the trick. Sadly, its not that easy. Body fat is lost collectively over multiple areas via a chronic caloric deficit and/or different modes of aerobic/anaerobic exercise (see the term beast mode). Everyone is different. Keep training hard, consistently, and progressively and youll start to see that muscle definition appear (not tone)!
