You determine your own focus; nobody else can. Your focus is a personal decision. You can choose to complain, blame others or wallow in self pity when you face challenges but you are responsible for what you give your attention to. If you give your attention to your situation, it will mislead you to desperate actions, taking you outside of God’s Word and forfeiting His promises of protection and preservation thereby. However, if you give your attention to God, you will know that you are what He says you are, you have what He says you have and you can do what He says you can do. This will enable you to see life clearly because focusing on Christ puts everything else in perspective. Remember, whatever you are feeling now is a product of your focus and broken focus is the real reason men fail. Therefore, if what you are experiencing now is contrary to your desires as a Christian, stop and take time to change your focus. Pay any price to protect your focus (Mark 9:43-47) because no one else can do it for you.
