You do know that the Christians took on pagan holidays and christianized them? Holidays such as Christmas and Easter. Christmas is Saturnalia and Easter is the feast of Ishtar. But did you know that the Christians also adopted the name of one of the pagans objects of worship? What was this name? Well, the Norse called him Odin. The ancient Germans called him Gott. In Modern English both related words would be translated as God. Do you fully understand now? The word God is the word that ancient Indp-Aryan pagans used for one of their tawagheet. Do you get how serious this is now? The Christians imitated the pagans and now we find some Muslims calling Allah by a name the pagans used for a devil they worshiped. People criticize Dr. Zakir Naik for saying we can call Allah Vishnu or Brahma, but themselves refer to Allah with a pagan name? We all know that Allah is One and that there is only one Ilah, but this certainly does not justify using a name the pagans used to call one of their deities. The warning against imitating the disbelievers is clear and applicable.
