Of this I cannot be sure but I do know that Gods word is true. He is in control and has been before this earth was even formed. He is from everlasting to everlasting and this is where our trust must lie. He tells us to rejoice in ALL things. Really? Rejoice when there is war? Sickness? Death? Famine? Lawlessness? Yes! Not for what is happening around us but knowing that He has already conquered all of this. Knowing that even should we die of old age, illness or accident or even murder - our soul is safe and we will be taken home to be with Him. We have been warned that all these things that are happening are signs of His return. We dont know the hour but we can trust in the promise and keep working to share His love with others. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12. 17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 These are the promises of our LORD JESUS to us. In prayer we can speak with Him and He will listen. Update from Liz, Kenneth finished his chemo on Dec. 23 and will have tests run the last of January.
