You dont have to defend that which you can demonstrate. I have had so many conversations with cessationists and very conservative believers in the last few weeks who have not experienced the power of God since salvation if ever for that matter and who were tentatively settled in their belief that God doesnt move or speak the way He used too. Rather than argue, debate, or get defensive I simply smile and ask them if they would like to experience the power of Gods Kingdom. In that moment I have watched King Jesus step in again, and again, and again releasing healing, deliverance, and encouragement to precious hearts simply afraid to believe that God is as good as I declared to them He is. I have witnessed the power of God rearrange lives, re-direct destinies, awaken love, and revive dead dreams. Jesus is alive and He loves to make Himself known. If we will be slow to speak, and quick to listen its amazing what The Lord will do through us. When we choose not to get defensive it gives the Holy Spirit freedom to go on the offensive and release His power. The Kingdom of God is not one of talk, but power. Be the demonstration friends. Its part of your inheritance.
