You dont have to let people control you. Youre choosing to. Today, you dont have to react to every negative thing someone does to you. Thats allowing them to control you. Thats saying when theyre nasty and rude, Ill be nasty and rude. When theyre nice and sweet, Ill be nice and sweet. Why allow someone to play with your emotions like that? Why allow them to yo-yo you around? Stop it. Remain consistent. If youre an outgoing, fun-loving, kind person most days, keep being that way. Dont let the attitudes and moods of others change that. Yes, its hard. Sure, its easier to dish it back out. But if youre truly a confident person who knows who they are, you dont need to conform. You stay who you are at all times. Remember that.
