You ever rode down Strawberry hill on your old swinn bicycle, hiked the narrows, rode horses to Natural Bridge for a swim, danced with Stan Fuller at the Amusement hall, took violin lessons from Miss Choate, watched the old school building burn to the ground right across the lane, go to school in the cabins down by Pine Creek when the snow was deeper than my legs, watched the new paved road built through Pine, had soda pop from Ed and Celeste Pattersons service station, ran races at the old air strip on the 4th. Of July, hiked up Pine Creek and Ruins Hill, chicken fries at the camp ground, August Celebration in Payson, dances and rodeos! Could go on and on! Wonderful growing up memories!
