You fill up my senses like the mountains in Springtime, like a walk in the forrest, like a walk in the rain.....Ahhh, John Denver, now that man could write and he could sing but when I sing you fill up my senses, I always think about God. Because ever since I truly came to know God through reading, praying, studying and living for Him, Ive gotten a new sense about life. I have realized that in all the ugliness that the world has to offer there is still beauty to be found if we could only see people, places & things through Gods eyes. What a difference it makes for me & what a difference it could make for EVERY one. When I step out my front door and I gaze up into the sky, I see God and His fingerprints in the sky (stars) and when I see the flowers & the grass & the trees and the colors changing right before my eyes, I see God in his painters cap standing next to His easel with a brush in one hand and His paint pallet in the other. When I see children at play or hear a baby cry, I see God aongt them playing along or cooing at the little ones in an attempt to comfort them. When I see the elderly walking all crunched over with cane or walker in hand or in a wheel chair I see God walking beside them or guiding the wheelchair gently steering it to and fro. I see God in the eyes of a other and in the heart of a father. Why do I see God in ALL these things? Because He is THERE. He said if you believe in ME, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Wow, those are Powerful and Comforting words. And God, who cannot lie, spoke them. So my friends, when you step out youre front door today, tell me, what do YOU see? Take some time out today not only for a freind but for yourself. Think about a scripture or a verse out of Gods word that holds a special place in youre heart. Think on it and ask yourself why? The next time you look at a co-worker, fellow student, a child or even at nature ask yourself, do I see God in any of this. Hug someone today, shake someones hand, whisper I love you or shout it out LOUD. Smile often, Laugh even more and may your laughter turn to Dancing. ALWAYS remember that God loves you and I do TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
