You forget how great it feels to do the simple things like clean your house, cook dinner at home, sit and play with toys. Today was the first day since Annabelles surgery that life has actually felt normal and a bit less worrisome. We are by no means out of the woods yet since Annabelle is still battling fluid on her lungs and if it gets even the slightest bit worse we will be readmitted. We also sat down with a cardiologist before her discharge and he really stressed that we needed to prepare ourselves for the thought of a pacemaker because it is probably going to happen in the near future. Annabelle has been back to her normal self today playing with all her toys, eating normal, and being her loving self and not the bad attitude we kept getting in the hospital. She also got sent home from the hospital with a heart monitor which looks identical to a pager and she thinks that is just way to cool so she shows everyone. I have been more at ease since being home this round because of having it and knowing if her heart goes into a crazy rhythm they will call me and let me know to head to the hospital.
