You guys, help me out. I need ideas. It makes me sick thinking of the disinfecting wipes (and also antibacterial hand soap and hand sanitizer) on all the school supply lists. Have you read the labels for these things?! Did you know youre supposed to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after touching one of the wipes? How many teachers have their students wear gloves to protect their hands, or send their students to wash hands after wiping the desk down with a Clorox wipe? Did you know the instructions for Lysol wipes say Allow to remain wet for 10 minutes. Allow surface to air dry. - do you think this happens in schools? Ugh. Last year I did a fundraiser and provided #Norwex Enviro Cloths (microfiber cloths that are used wet with water, and are embedded with microsilver, which allows the cloths to self-sanitize and inhibits bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew growth within the cloth) to teachers, for free through the fundraiser. How can I get more cloths into the hands of teachers (which will in turn eliminate, or at least reduce, the exposure to toxic chemicals from disinfecting wipes and such in the classroom)? Our kids deserve better. Id love to be able to give them away for free, but even I have to pay for them. Any ideas?
