You guys know Im a huge music lover and Ive been to hundreds of concerts over the years. Ive also been lucky enough to see some really special moments along the way. Rhett Akins at our county fair singing Where Angels Live while standing on top of the speakers, back to the crowd, facing the hospital where one of his biggest little fans was dying. Tim McGraw singing Wouldnt Want It Any Other Way to Faith Hill the night after he asked her to marry him. Garth Brooks singing The Dance after he lost a childhood friend earlier that week. Eric Church stepping to the mic at Coyote Joes after being fired from the Rascal Flatts tour and saying, This next song is my first ever hit and Im gonna play it as loud and as long as I damn want to. Over the next 10 mins of How Bout You and a medley of cover songs, I knew without a shadow of a doubt he was going to be selling out stadiums one day. Well I had another moment last night. With the future of the band hanging in the balance, some VERY important record guys listening, and a few thousand people ( a lot who didnt know who they were) crammed into Coyote Joes, the Early Ray Band had one of those moments. During the song If You Cant Find The Time Rayen Belchere stepped back from the mic and the band took a pause, as the walls were shaking from the screams, and I knew it..... These guys are going to be legends.
