You had frickin PAUL MCCARTNEY in your studio and YOU WENT WITH AUTOTUNE!?!?!? These lyrics are good. They are honest and sincere and its not a bad written song at all. But the autotune and the way this was sung KILLED it. It kills any potential the song has to shown honest, real emotions that this song was so close to having. I would love to have a version of this sung by Paul McCartney or (actual) Kanye West. This was so close to being a good song, but the way it was sung killed it. This is what frustrates me about modern music, everyone feels they need tricks to get people to listen when you dont! You need what these lyrics had and you need to present it in a honest, emotional way that connects with their audience, which this song did not have. So close.
