You have a choice. You can continue to listen to the propaganda of fear and buy into it, or you can think critically and realize that someone is trying to divide and conquer the world. This man confirms my personal experience - Muslims are peaceful, warm and friendly. In my 43 months in Iraq I didnt just meet Iraqis. I worked in a Muslim melting pot for 9 months -the Baghdad convoy staging yard - where I met Muslims from all over the middle east including Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, Jordan. I accepted their invitations to sit in the shade of the tractor trailer and sip hot tea. We talked about the world, their lives, America, the war. They were brave men doing a dangerous job for the love of their families, as was I. I traveled to Turkey for hernia repair. My doctor and his family were Muslim, as is 90 percent of the Turkish population. I have never been treated with more kindness and respect than I was there. I have a good friend from Macedonia, also Muslim, a manager for the company that provided the military with porta-jon service. We shared many a meal on the base in Iraq. If he wasnt living half-a-world away wed still be hanging out together. Instead we stay in touch via facebook. You are being lied to. Do not form your opinion of Islam or its adherents based upon the media. They are fomenting fear for the reasons of someones political agenda. Dont fall for it. 99.99 percent of the worlds population are just like you. They want a home, an honest income and security for the people they love. They dont want your head.
