“You have lived comfortably among us for 500 years and gotten rich at our expense. Is this your gratitude – killing Muslims? Erdogan, demand that the community leader apologize!” So my dear friends on Facebook who have been posting pictures from Gaza (or most of the time pics from many other Middle Eastern conflicts that are not Gaza), who have been typing context-free or shall I say Hamas-free messages, you should feel responsible for this, and the riot at the Israeli Embassy. Sharing messages and pictures of agitation and one-sided perspective that completely disregard the responsibility Hamas who HAS BEEN and STILL is threatening people in Gaza to stay in their homes, who orders them to stay in their houses despite Israels warnings for bombing, who shoots people in the leg on the street because they refuse to curse at Abu Mazen, led to this escalation. Very well done. In the mean time, if you really want to understand, and read from people who really do care, who really DO know whats going on in Gaza (other than yes the fact that people have died, and people are still dying) and people who really might have a solution and the power to bring in solutions, I would recommend you to follow my friend Gershon Baskin here on Facebook or on his blog.
