You have the right to make mistakes, to be less than competent, less than perfect. You have a right to ask for what you want and to get what you pay for. You have the right to feel good about yourself and to make choices that will cause you to grow. You have the right to decide how you will use your time and to limit other peoples demands on it. You have the right to be taken seriously and to be heard when you have something to say. You have the right to be recognized for your accomplishments. You have the right to express your feelings of anger and pain as well as those of pleasure and approval, as long as you respect the rights of others at the same time. You have the right to question authority, to ask for help and support, and to have privacy.
