You have to long for the word of God, you have to crave the word of God. The word is no different than your favorite food. You think about the food you crave, your mouth waters for the food you crave, and then you go and eat your favorite food and then you are satisfied. Craving the word of God is no different than food but God words always fill you up and is never bad for you, where at times the foods we eat are not only bad for us, but eaten in large quantities can kill you. Yet there is hope. Gods word fills you with what you need to live and live righteous. His word can actually help you to eat better, just read the word enough and it gives you clues to what to eat, how much to eat and when to say when. Its in there but it takes you searching the scriptures as if you wanted more or a deeper understanding, and this is when the book can come alive for you, and you can see things in a more vivid and clear way, where the scriptures jump off the page at you. But as the scripture says, Seek first the kingdom of Heaven and Gods righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Seeking God first to me means that at all times you should pray, read the scriptures even a verse, before you start your day. A great place to read the word before you do anything else is with your coffee while you are doing what most people do in the morning. They get up, have some coffee, go to the restroom, so why not multi task and have the word right beside you on a table and there you have it, out with the old and in with the new. God wants us all to put Him first and seek Him first, it is those that seek Him diligently that get the most revelation from His word and see more blessings and are more thankful, for their eyes have been open to the splendor and wonder of God. The word says that those that seek Him early in the morning shall find Him. As you can see a connection of scripture is occurring here naturally. 1 seek first the kingdom of heaven and Gods righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you 2) those that seek Him diligently early in the morning shall find Him. As you read the scripture and meditate upon Gods word He reveals more of Himself to you, for you are studying to show yourself approved, BAM THE WORD IS CONFIRMED, AND THE WORD NEVER COMES BACK VOID, THERE ARE THE NEXT TWO SCRIPTURES CONNECTED JUST FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS PAPER. J SEE RIGHT THERE BEFORE YOU EYES AND MINE, FOR I JUST WROTE THIS, THE WORD IS CONNECTING ITSELF TOGETHER AND CONFIRMING ITSELF AS IF IT WERE ALIVE. That’s it you see, that is why the word is referred to as the living word of God, for it is alive and able to teach you, correct you, make your life on earth so much better if only you are willing to give in to the will of God for your life. It is then the Holy spirit can come in and sup with you as the scriptures so plainly state. But what is the first initial step to getting Gods attention. That would be to admit you are helpless without Him, you are broken and need fixed by the ultimate physician. He then can come in and do the miraculous like he has for me, for my family, and for multitudes that gave in to His word, and then they were able to see the light and make the way straight, as they became children of God. Back to reading the word of God. In order that we please God and are making an attempt to seek Him first, study to show ourselves approved, and are seeking Him diligently early in the morning, wait lets stop right there. How do we seek God diligently. Well after examining the word in the Thesaurus here are some words that describe one that is diligently seeking after God. A person whom is intending to seek God diligently is meticulous. When one is meticulous it means that they pay attention to detail, so then if you are seeking to find God then you need to pay attention to every detail of the word if you are true in your attempt to find Him. Next word connected to diligent was thorough. and someone that is thorough is someone that actually exhausts all angels before making an analysis of what they are researching. Another word that came up in connection with diligent was attentive, and think of who was most attentive to your needs like a mother, mother’s are so well known for being attentive to their children’s needs, for they come by it naturally. Or like a protective father, for they instinctively would risk their own life for the saving of one of their own children. HOLD ON REVELATION TIME: LOOK WHAT GOD DID FOR YOU IN ORDER THAT YOU FIND HIM HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF TO COVER YOUR SINS AND PROTECT YOU FROM HELL JUST LIKE A FATHER WOULD SAVE HIS CHILD NO MATTER WHAT THE COST. SEE AGAIN JUST FROM THE STUDY OF SCRIPTURE, WRITING ABOUT SCRIPTURE REVELATION COMES TO THOSE WHO READ THE WORD, MEDITATE UPON THE WORD AND APPLY THE WORD TO THEIR LIVES, FROM GLORY TO GLORY UNTILL WE MEET HIM AND HERE THE WORDS ENTER IN, for this is what we all work so hard for two words enter in. So in short there you have it in order that we are getting Gods attention, reading of the word of God is essential to ones growth and understanding of the Holy Scriptures . God has even given us a formula to find Him if we look. This particular formula He has given me goes as follows: 1) seek Him first 2) seek Him early when your day starts off 3) be diligent in your approach to finding God 4) study the word to show God your real 5) take the time to be thorough, attentive, meticulous, for these are qualities of a good student that God can see and can bless for their dedication to the Father, and to the study of His word and application of that word to their lives 6) then reap what you sow, share the word with others and make a difference in the world that you live in, and be a part of the solution and not part of the problem. OVER HAUL YOUR THINKING Once you have read the word and now have the attention of God, the next thing that happens as you give into the will of God, is a transformation takes place within the mind. Your heart and mind are the two major areas that Gods word will change based upon your submission to Him, and dedication to you wanting to change. This is where the miracles start to manifest right before your eyes. God is wanting to come into your life and help you to become a winner, and for you to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Somewhere in the word it says that kingdom of heaven is at hand. It is your choices that can give you the desires of your heart and heaven on earth at times or at all times, this can actually be a glimpse into the heavens if you choose. Choose what? To let God fly the plane figuratively speaking, and you just be ready to go on the flight of a lifetime, having the supreme God of all things as your pilot as you learn that Father knows best. It is our job to fight the world and its desire to shape us into its mold. The scripture plainly states that God is the potter and we are the clay, and His desire is to shape you and mold you into something you never imagined, if only you chooose Him. In order that we be “changed,” we do this by the renewing of your mind through constant study of the word, application of the word being applied to your life, and the willingness to change. The world spurns negativitiy through deception, lying, murder, rape, the abuse of children and the list grows and shall continue. But we as children of God have the option of choosing Him and His word and His ways and turning all the negativity into positive qualities. These qualities of God include love, foregiveness, compassion, patience, kindness, charity, all found in the fruits of the spirit in the scriptures if only you choose to find them and apply them to your life. It is a no brainer to look at both lists negative and positive and see that Gods plan far outweighs the plans of the world, and His desire for all to live in peace and harmony. We must literally brainwash our minds with the word of God. This statement really got me to thinking because of what our children hear at an early age that infects their minds with the trash that the world puts out. Yet thank God for the saving grace of the scriptures and how they can affect young minds and old for that matter in a positive aspect, and shape broken lives into something that people can see as tangible, real, and have an impact on them to the point that they want some of the thing. And that is the main objective of each and every Christian as they grow and mature and that is to share the message of hope to all people. And if we did that and took it as serious as we did other things, then think what the world would be like and how much better it would be for all? God is looking for people that want to change themselves first and help change the world next. What does the scripture say get the plank out of your own eyes before you try and save the world.
