You have to say Village Idiot just doesnt do these smug, self-preening lightweights justice. This government have striven might and mane to undermine infrastructure investment in this country. How? Through sheer ineptitude interlaced with outright corruption. There is no strategy other than taxing the many to enrich the few through green fraud. The upshot is that none of the major energy companies was prepared to commit to the UK, effectively abandoning it as a place for new investment. EDFs deal shows the price this inept, corrupt, rotten administration had to pay to get a company to step back in. No strategy for energy supply or transportation, two of the basic building blocks of a successful economy. High taxes levied on those same building blocks. We are now left in a perilous state with the likelihood of shortages and dependent upon increasing imports. Economic mismanagement of the most basic kind, all due to government. Then these crooks have the temerity to suggest criminal sanctions. These pathetic, slobbering, trough guzzlers who entirely exempt their friends in the City from any form of prosecution for the most blatant frauds and manipulations now play to the gallery with populist rhetoric. In fact, it shows them for what they are; shallow, vain, inept, clueless, out of their depth. What more can these dandies do to deter genuine investment in this country?
