You hide your emotions, you pretend not to care. Flattery doesnt work on you, you abhor sycophants. You value your own opinion, and to hell with every one elses. The truth though is somewhat different. Everyone craves to be appreciated, to be cared for, to be loved. Youre no exception! The irony is, in the absence of the real thing even flattery will do nicely. Come to think of it thats exactly what youre doing here on Fb: angling for a little bit of appreciation, never mind how you get it.
