You just never know when you wake up how your day will go - mine could have gone better. My mom apparently suffered a small stroke late last night or this morning and it has affected her speech - she cant talk, cant form words, it all comes out gobbledy gook. Spent the day in the ER and she is now in a room and hope to know more tomorrow. It could have been much worse, no paralysis or other issues are apparent and hopefully this was just a glitch and not a warning shot. Very similar to what she went through 3 years ago but that one caused other problems like cognitive and motor deficits. She is in there but cant form the words. Im hoping she can come home tomorrow and we can start speech and physical therapy at home so she can cheer on the Buckeyes in their bowl game.
