You know I am not one usually to use FB to rant! Matter of fact I usually only rant to my husband or God, at home in private, when something bothers me. But it has been one of those days! When my husband goes to work after doing all the hard work for a homeowner, that decides they arent paying for anything all the sudden after 3 days of work. Using the excuse that she doesnt like the brick color(she ordered) that is the same exact color brick on her home as it is. With the demoing of a rotted deck attached to the sun room which didnt have the brick under pinning (that it shouldve had when first built), hand(shovel) digging of a footing, and leveling out the ground with the cement to ready it for the brick laying (which is the easier part, the brick laying). She wanted a patio with brick underpinning attached to her sunroom, after the rotted deck was removed. Half the job is done. Today is Friday most people know that means you pay for what has been done at the least. So when they (my husband, and his crew) came in at 6 a.m. to start work she now decides the work isnt good, and thinks she shouldnt pay. The demo wasnt satisfactory? The cleaning up after? Was it the digging of the footing? Was it the level cement that has been poured and dried yesterday to start the wall building? No, it was the brick color that was ordered by her, delivered yesterday morning, and before 8+ hours of work being done to prepare the area for the brick work. At the least pay for the three days of hard labor work that the three men spent in 90+ degrees, and for more than 8+ hours. I know I should pray for these people that find a job unsatisfactory so the arent paying, but seriously I believe this was planned from the beginning to get free work. This has happened twice this year. Josh has just lets it go, saying, that it is between them and God, that he will sleep just fine. Adding on free rooms, decks, and patios to peoples houses is starting to stink!! You know I just ask you pray for my bitterness in this. I am sorry for the negativity, but I couldnt complain to a man already hurting.
