You know I am not typically one to comment on the absurdity of our government system. But I am disgusted by the decisions that are being made that affect the brave men and women that protest our country. While people that have lobbied an lied to the American public get fat and feed off of the working American they choose to break the backs of the 1 % of Americans who choose to bravely go where ordered to when Lady liberty or the Government calls for them. They choose to cut our retirement and levy heavier burdens on us and our families while at the same time increasing their pay and benefits for their own and their families that have done not one iota of the work and suffering that a military family have suffered. I realize that my rant will do nothing to sway the way that people vote and the state of the government as it is now but I just needed to let it out. I have spent 15 years defending the nation and going where I have been told to support strategic governance all over the world. But I am sickened that those of us that have placed our families through hell may be left with nothing to show. Hind sight is 20/20 I could have spent 15 years climbing a corporate ladder that would have been less stressful on my marriage, my relationships , and spent time with my kids like a normal father.
