You know, I could see stealing a box of pasta to help feed the family, and NOT because I think it is excusable, but because pasta can fill you up and offer larger portions for a small amount. Our local food bank also gives out peanut butter and (sparingly) meat products like chicken and hamburger. SO-- if you are hungry, ask the shopkeeper if there is a food bank close. Dont steal lobster tails. The lobsters dont appreciate it ;) And little kids do what they see. They are little mimics. That stroller itself cost more than my car ;) so I guess they didnt budget for a fancy stroller AND food. This is a crime, no matter what the reasoning behind it. I am often hungry for lobster, I havent had it in years, but stealing it is not the way to get it. I hope they are caught and reprimanded, and I hope they are not continuing to teach the children to steal as a means of subsistence.
