You know I dont get much involved with politics but tonight at the town meeting, people were trying to shut down a place that couldnt treat dogs any better than Ive ever seen. This was the first time I really regret not getting up and sharing my opinion. So all you people get to hear what I would have said. hi my name is Timothy Ryan. Lauderdale by the sea resident as of 27 hours ago. I just gotta say its pretty awesome to spend my second night in front of the mayor and his board. Anyway. People keep saying these extremely bizarre comments on how this business locks the door and the puppies are inattentive. I just have one question for the board. When you go to sleep at night do you hire nannies to attend to your dog for the 8 hours you sleep. This is the same amount of time this dog store is closed. These people keep coming up here with photos and horrible stories of animal cruelty. Something that is completely irrelevant from the situation. Im almost surprised they didnt hire Sarah mchlachlan to come and speak on behalf of them. You want an issue to solve? I just lived in the keys for 3 years go down there and protest people swimming from different countries and landing on our shores and becoming an immediate citizen. Man. The things that came out of these peoples mouths. Instead of going to puppy mills and getting them closed down they wanna try and close down a mans business who doesnt partake in any of that.
