You know, I have deep concerns about the legacy we leave for our children, especially related to the current status of our government. I heard an analogy today regarding pulling the wagon vs. riding the wagon. That has to be the best parallel to conservatives and liberals Ive heard so far. You see Im just not into political parties. Im into morality. My personal morality warrants that I help people who helps themselves. Am I wrong or is this what our forefathers founded this country on? I do my best to look past the negativity, stupidity, and ideology that is ruining our nation today and hold on to the hope that their are still enough Americans who think along the same lines as I do. I truly do not dislike our president. His heart is, for the most part, in the right place. My issue with his and the Senate majoritys thought process is that the taxpayers will always be able to afford the entitlements they vote on and pass. Ray Charles could have seen the error in their thinking. At what point do we say all this unsustainable? If not now, when? Anyone with a calculator knows this Obamacare plan is unsustainable, but they still push forward with the thought process. The American people are smarter than this. I can only believe that our elected officials are passing laws based on self interest and preservation. It simply has to end! Who will be our Savior?
