You know, I put this message on my prepping groups, but I want to - TopicsExpress

You know, I put this message on my prepping groups, but I want to share it with everyone, cause I know some dont believe in the underlying attitude (as presented by mass media) regarding prepping. Here is the msg: I would like to encourage all here to add something to your everyday surviving prep. One of those systems like life alert, and CPR classes. I know it can be easy to think of Life Alert or similar emergency call systems as for the elderly. They are not. As i write this a college friend of mine is in a medical coma. He had a seizure that left him without adequate oxygen to his brain for apparently 40 mins. He is 42 or 43 yrs old. I imagine if there was a system like Life alert used he would be a little better off. Remember guys, we can talk about SHTF all we want, but the emergencies that are more likely on a day to day basis relate to our own or our loved ones health, car accidents, or natural disasters. If you have water and food for three yrs and guns galore, but cant give your wife, husband, or kids CPR you are not prepared. If there is no way to call for help immediately when at home alone, and something happens, then you are not prepared. If you dont have anything that you can push that sends an automatic call when you are home alone, or you dont know CPR, or not everyone in your house knows-INCLUDING KIDS--you need to change that.
