You know, I really am grateful for the people Im surrounded by. On Monday I returned home to find my apartment broken into and my furniture, clothes and food taken. I was so traumatised by that experience. The trauma was worsened by the inaction of the Grahamstown police, who, to this day, have still not come to my place despite the many times that I called them. Immediately when I informed you guys of my ordeal, some of you reached out to offer assistance. As things stand today, I got e-wallet transfers, ABSA cashsend transfers and direct deposits into my account, for amounts ranging between R150 to R2000, from generous people, most of whom Ive never even met, just wanting to offer a helping hand. Im very teary as I write this status, because I have been able to buy some of the stuff and will go and get some clothes tomorrow to replace what was taken from me. I really dont know why you people are so good to me. Im unworthy of the generosity and lovingkindness that I get from you. Nonetheless, Im eternally grateful to the individuals who have showered me with this kindness. I dont even know who some of you are because you just sent e-wallet transfers and never told me who you are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
