You know I really do not like when people lose their jobs, but Jesus F Christ, I would not complain if the US Postal Service were shut down. For the umteenth time, getting mail addressed to the same street number, different street name. Not that that is an issue on its own, but this has happened with EVERY letter carrier of this route in Belmont, and multiple times with the same carrier. I see them tromping through flower beds, through bushes and lawns, with perfectly healthy sidewalks nearby. So I point this out to this new carrier as I hand him the error... Him - Hi sir, did you get a bad one? Me - Not bad, just wrong... Him - Looking at name - Oh, there is no John Nodough at this address... Me - Look at address...every carrier that delivers this route makes this error, why?...get that dumb look back... Him - after couple of seconds, oh this is X street, that is Y street...(not even close in spelling). Him - Thank you, we are working on it. .................WTF (been 20 years so far, multiple complaints to Belmont PO, still happens. I thought there were tests that they had to pass, like letters and numbers, before they go live....
