You know, I was talking to Mareesha Does Watch today. Due to my Uncle who passed away yesterday. I told her the story of my Mom and Dad. I felt a need to print that story, so here goes: On July 10 1986, I was off that morning when my brother Larry called me and told me my Dad had passed away. On July 13, 1986 the day we would bury Dad at 2:30 PM, my Mom died at home while we were all getting to gather for Dads funeral. Well, they took Mom to the hospital where she was declared dead. The doctor came out and told us, if there any way he could he would say Mom died of a broken heart, so on her death certificate he put cause of death Unknown. At the funeral home where Mom lay in state my preacher came up to me and put his arm around me as e went for a walk. He said you know Bill, Old Ben (my Dad) was always known for being stubborn and heard headed. We stopped a moment and he looked into my eyes and say. Bill, I bet you, Ben got up to the gates of heaven and would no go in without Emma.(my Mom). So after a bit of being stubborn with Peter, Peter got on the phone and called up the Lord and said Lord we have a problem with Ben here at the gate. He wont come in without Emma. So the Lord as thinking for a moment and he told Peter, OK, I call Emma up here so hell come in. So Mom went home to be with the Lord and Dad. We buried Dad that Sunday afternoon, Out of 5 kids, 2 stayed at the hospital, while 3 of us went to bury Dad. We buried Mom on Tuesday. Monday was their 52nd Anniversary. I dont know why I felt like I had to write this story, but something in my heart told me too. God Bless you!
