You know I will never get why people tell kids... If your not good Santa will put coal in your stocking, or you better be good so Santa brings you lots of toys for Christmas.. Am I the only one that notices Santa really spells Satan???? Its like people even Christians move their focus off of God and put it on the one who really made Christmas theology in the first place... Gotta love paganism where the roots are horrible and you just put Christ to it in hopes you can cover it.. Thats just my opinion, Giving should be something you should want to do year round because God is a giving God year round, but instead people waste thousands of dollars on a Holiday(holy Day) that is not even biblical.... Then you have to step back and contemplate well God they barely give you 10% and waste so much money on things that wont even last.. So is Christmas a Kingdom Minded agenda or a Man made Traditional agenda?? Also just for the record Jesus was born well before December 25th because if you study the bible the Shepherds would not have been in the field tending to their flocks during the winter months where it was 14 degrees during the day and 7 degrees at night smh.. I think as a Christian you should always study to show yourself approved so you know who and what you are really celebrating.. The date of December 25th comes from Rome and was a celebration of the Italic god, Saturn, and the rebirth of the sun god.This was done long before the birth of Jesus.It was noted by the pre-Christian Romans and other pagans, that daylight began to increase after December 22nd, when they assumed that the sun god died.These ancients believed that the sun god rose from the dead three days later as the new-born and venerable sun funny it was the same country (Roman Catholics who changed the holiday to Christmas which is a combination of Christ and Mass, mass meaning Death and Christmas being a word made strictly by the roman Catholics so in a short of words you can take all your Gods and Goddesses and we will put a Christian name to it.. That is why I always say Be careful what you put Gods name to!! As someone who has followed Man made traditions this holiday was the most difficult for me to let go and it is because it felt so difficult I realized Idols come in all forms.. I want to go to the next level with God so I am proud to say Christ-Mass will not be part of my heritage and it is a tradition that I will gladly throw away to honor My Savior and My Daddy because the truth will always set you free!!!!! I know many of you may not agree and that is okay to each their own but I can say you cant go before the Father saying you did not know the truth and I am still going to love each of you no matter what!! I just had to get this off my chest!
