You know, capitalism has gotten a bad rap lately, and part of the problem is we don’t have capitalism currently in the United States. We have some hybrid between socialism and fascism, and all kinds of things in between, a lot of cronyism. You know, basically we have a pay to play system where government is offering special favors to the highest bidder. As a Libertarian, we believe in true, free market capitalism, and what that means is we don’t support the crony contracts. We don’t support the bail outs for the bankers. We don’t support businesses having the opportunity to privatize profits and socialize losses. What we intend to do is actually level the playing field across the board and really implement those free market forces that are what built this country into the greatest economic engine that the world has ever seen. So, you know, while capitalism has gotten a bit of a black eye, I say, you know, let’s start actually practicing capitalism again and I think we’ll find that it leads to prosperity for Floridians.
