You know how I’m always up in your grills in person, on - TopicsExpress

You know how I’m always up in your grills in person, on Facebook, in text messages telling you to make every minute count, make memories with people you love, get out of your comfort zone, the days go slowly, but the years go fast and all of that cliché stuff? Don’t expect that is going to stop any time soon. I’m currently exploring these new tide pools of grief over losing my mom, my best girlfriend, my roommate, my movie buddy, my personal shopping advisor, my part-time cook, my part-time diner, my maxi-me (is that a thing?), my little one… well, you get it. Loss hurts no matter what. And I’ve been having all of the ups, downs and sideways that come with that. Mom’s passing took us all by surprise, so there was no preparation, no planning or was there? That brings me back to why I nag everyone (myself included) to live each day like it’s your last and the last time you will see someone. One day… it will be and you may not have any warning. Nothing can stop the pain, loss and grief. However, it’s hard for me to go too dark and too deep because I have a lifetime of memories, hundreds of times when I put “us” first, and countless smiles given and received to give me some solace during this journey. Trying to get back on the horse so to speak and make memories with those of you I love that are still here. Be patient with me as I go through this journey and a huge thanks to those of you accompanying me on it voluntarily. Expect great memories to be made with me soon. Were worth it!
