You know how fridges have that light that turns on only when you open the door? Who invented that? Its a simple enough design, but serves such a quality purpose. Its dark in this otherwise enclosed box, but I only need to see into it when I am using it. The Schrodingers cat of daily technology. I mean there are lights in closests too, but theyre usually operated by switches. Why not automatic. The fridge also keeps things at constant temperatures, but different in different areas. I like my bedroom colder than my bathroom. Vents help and some houses can do this, but not mine. Also the whole concept of a refrigerator is mind blowing. Like thermodynamically speaking do you know how hard it is to cool things off? It happens all around us cosmically, but from a human interaction perspective its crazy! Weve had thousands of years of experience at heating things up. But cooling things off (ice boxes, Air Conditioning, etc.) is a relatively new technology. One that revolutionized the food transportation industry, comfort standards, and ice cream. Ive come to the conclusion that my refrigerator is a futuristic spaceship, so I shall be forwarding all of my mail there. It is now my home. And you asked what I was thinking...
