You know how sometimes you hanker for somethin new and then when you find that thing its like YES I MUST HAVE THE PRECIOUS and you maybe like it too much? Just had one of those. I read a whole book in a day, which I havent done for a couple of years (last time was READY PLAYER ONE in 2011) because I always feel guilty afterward for ignoring the world like that. But sometimes you really enjoy other worlds, right? This morning I was in the mood for military sci-fi or space opera because PEW PEW PEW is fun I guess. I dont often read books like that but the mood struck me and I rolled with it. Picked up DAUNTLESS by Jack Campbell this morning and there you go. Fast n entertaining, plus alien drill bits. Thank you sir, may I please have another? YES I MAY. The rest of the series is waiting at the bookstore. I saw them. I will return upon the commencement of business hours and collect the Precious. Anyway: Hope you get to read something spiffy if you find a bit of down time during the season here. Probably offline until after Christmas, so Ill see you on the other side.
