You know how you say, Oh I wish someone would try this on me? I really dont because I dont need my child to see me turn Up to 1000 in 0 seconds flat. ( & those familiar w/me know this is not just an expression) The truth of the matter is youre damn if you do & damn if you dont. So dont, dont engage in ignorance of on lookers who yell horrible things to nursing moms....My baby almost screamed me out of Comcast on Friday & the ONLY reason I didnt whip out that meal in line was bc I couldnt get the shirt right while wearing her & nasty Chester looking guy right behind me. I got ugly looks because they didnt want her crying but we politely finished & went to the car downed the windows sat in driver seat & had lunch from the tap lol.... my shirt served as a cover because my daughter will throw anything else off her face. When we get strange looks I look back as if they disgust me by being so perverted. I make the weirdo feel uncomfortable. My point is: In these situations, You are doing your job & providing your child with love & its a blessing to have this ability because we could be looking for donors. So please take if from someone who had to convert my own family from in-laws to dad to my own mother. When we nurse and do it respectfully by not entertaining the uneducated we give more moms strength to provide their little one with the healthiest meal & the best emotional stabilizer either of them with ever experience!
