You know, it really upsets me to see how modern day feminism treats rape and rape culture. It feels horribly oppressing. Every time I see a feminist rant about rape, it makes me feel bad to know that Im part of that demographic. The simple fact that I contribute to rape culture so much, simply by having a penis. It hurts. It doesnt feel as though feminists are trying to help our wayward CIS souls, but rather demonizing, dehumanizing, and places unfair stereotypes on us; vilifying us as all horrible raping people. But were not all evil. Not all of us rape with hate and anger. Some of us, like myself, rape with regret. It makes me feel horrible whenever I give in to my id and just follow my male instincts of rape. But I cant help it. As modern feminism teaches, men cant control themselves. so I feel that in that case, feminism needs to change a bit. It needs to change in a way that it helps us poor rape addicts, rather than ostracizing us. Rape is an addiction just like cigarettes or watching Family Feud. Only its worse. Its pre programmed into our male brains from birth. The first thought any male ever thinks is of rape. We cant help it, its integrated into our genetics. Telling a man not to rape is akin to sending a gay person to a pray-the-gay-away camp. It wont help anything. Itll just make us suppress our urges until it all comes out in a violent explosion. Whenever I see a sign like this, I try to remember and take its advice, but honestly, it can be so hard sometimes to not rape people. Im not saying I dont agree with feminism, Im simply saying that this movement for equality is making me feel rather unequal. Caleb Hay is a satirical genius.
