You know its hideous when some Muslims (usually Sūfī-orientated) confer unto poverty a holy status and hype it up like its the primary objective of the dīn. Go and hype poverty to the face of those worse stricken by it. Allāh facilitate ease for all in such a condition. Furthermore, how we gonna build and sustain madāris and Islamic institutions (not masājid though, weve got plenty of them!) for us and our future generations if we voluntarily jump into the gloomy pit of economic impotence? #DontBelieveTheHype #ProtectThisHouse
