You know our grandparents generation understood that if they were ever gonna have anything they would have to work (often very hard) for it. They never considered that it was someone elses responsibility to do it for them, they didnt sit around waiting for it to come to them. Weve come a long way baby, but it was the wrong way. Our generation despises the concept of doing anything hard. Unfortunately this mindset has filtered into every facet of our lives in our generation, especially our spiritual lives. We have to cultivate the things that are important. Want a better marriage? Read a book, go to a seminar, seek good counseling, talk openly with your spouse ( a novel idea). Want a better relationship with God? Go to church, read your bible, talk to God (pray), hang out with good folks that love HIM. Press in!!!
