You know, sometimes liars end up believing their own lies.. Back when I was in high school, I had a huge CRUSH on DJ Cleo. It wasnt normal, I was close to being obsessed.. So, one December, I was in TabaNchu with my cousins, attending an Annual Convention that we normally attend at church.. On the 24th of December that year, we went to town, to buy some of the stuff we needed, from cereals to just junk food. We got to Shoprite and did our little shopping. They (my cousins) sent me to go and get milk while they went to pay. When I got to them, at the pay point, I was so excited, nam ke torho I didnt know why. On our way back to our Convention Centre, I told them I met Dj Cleo at Shoprite and we talked.. Because of my excitement, they believed me. We talked about it for days and I was telling them what he was wearing and the stuff we talked about.. In that process, I ended up believing my own lie. Youd wake me up any time of the day and ask me about it and Id tell you the exact same thing, I even told my friends about it.. I ended up not being sure whether I had met Dj Cleo or not, because my lie sounded so real. #teenCrush #madness ..
