You know that feeling when you watch at the door with anticipation.....watching with expectancy for the return of that loved one....Or the times when you pick a child up from school and they are so excited to see you.....or when you pick your child up from daycare and all the children are running to the door anxious to see their mom...dad....grandparent.....or when you return home and that special pet greets you at the door (with a pet....it can be hours or just a few minutes...lol) and they are full of excitement....you cant hardly move for them being right at your feet......or maybe youre at the airport searching the crowd for someone that youre longing to see.....hoping to just catch a glimpse to help quench the excitement until you can have them in a bear hug.....none of this can even scratch the surface or compare to the love and anticipation that our heavenly Father has for His children....are you seeking Him....do you long to see Him??? A Divine Appointment Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. Psalm 62:1, NKJV Have you ever considered that you have a divine appointment when you get up early for your quiet time of prayer and meditation on His Word? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there? Have you ever thought of going to church as a divine appointment? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there? Have you ever thought of the Bible study you belong to as a divine appointment? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there? What a difference it would make in our attitude of expectancy and our habit of consistency if we truly wrapped our hearts around the knowledge that each is a divine appointment, that Jesus Himself is waiting to meet with us.
