You know that saying, your job wont take care of you when youre sick, your family & friends will. Oddly enough, in this incredibly trying time, with my transfer to Sandakan and my dads unexpected illness, it is my job and my former bossess and my colleagues and my former ward nurses that has helped me so much. I found deeper friendship from the most unlikely individuals, and unconditional support and kindness from complete strangers. I gain my strength from them. And to some others whom i considered near & dear friends, who wouldnt take time of day away from their dinner plates & gossips and day-to-day expected nuances, thank you for showing me what youre worth and proving me right. I now have more faith in my sense of judgement, my confidence and my strength. Ill survive. I always have.
