You know the times when you start watching a movie without much expectations & slowly realize that you are being treated with a gem? Yup, thats the feeling I can totally relate to now. Locke is a very literal journey of a man, a man with a happy family, a man with a very successful job in which he is about to create history, until it all falls apart because of a decision he has to make. He tries vigorously to justify himself for choosing to come down this path because he can relate to it personally even though he knows whats waiting for him down the end of the line will ultimately leave him with nothing. Finally he manages to reach his goal even though he knows he can never be a part of it. Tom Hardy gives a compelling one man performance. The off screen genius is also noticeable as the director uses the physical limitations of being in a BMW to a great effect & does indeed manage to create a taut & thrilling drama
