You know, these pictures I have just shared, were just now sent to me by my lifelong friend, Jane Worley Barrett, because I had every single thing I ever owned in my long, long life stolen from me by a woman who owned a place where I lived for awhile. I was not in the right state of mind when I took her word for it that she would store all of my belongings in her storage unit until I was ready to go through everything, and decide what I wanted to keep, and what I wanted to sell. If I had been in the right frame of mind, I would have gotten it in writing, and gotten her to sign it, and have it notarized, but, i didnt. One of the stupidest things I have ever done in my life. I literally lost every single item in my possession. Long, long list of precious-to-me things, including all pictures. So, when Jane discovered some tonight, as she was going through stuff, I was just thrilled to death to get them! Such precious memories for me and her!!! I HAD to share them with you! The picture of my whole family, with my ex, was taken just before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. That day, when he came home from work, and I told him of my diagnosis, he put his hands on his hips, in our bedroom, still in suit and tie, after work, and said, I will NOT be married to a sick wife. And, then he dove, headlong, into an affair. That is why he is my ex, and why I divorced him. It tore up my family, literally. My children and I have never been the same. I am very happy now. I had to go to a lot of counseling to get a grip on it, and to understand everything, but I did, and I am okay now. My sons, however, will never truly recover, even though they are grown men, and trying to do the best with what they have. One is a very, very successful husband and father, while one is an addict. My ex was a Narcissist, to the inth degree, and it took several years of counseling for me to understand what that is, and to realize the effect it had on me and my sons. I now know that I was released from a prison that I had adapted to living in, during my marriage, and my sons were damaged from their Dads treatment of them, as well. Anyway, just wanted you to know what happened to what appears to be a lovely family as some of you put it.
